How to find The Fawley

When you enter Shanklin you will come to traffic lights at a five-road junction: turn left onto Hope Road and The Fawley is 75 metres on the left.

Our golden sandy beaches, washed clean by the tides, are among the safest for bathing. They are also the most popular with visitors.
Excellent hospitality Lovely walks
Shanklin Chine
It was opened to the public in 1817 and has long been one of the island's greatest tourist attractions. A former haunt of smugglers, it is today a rich haven of rare plants surrounding the winding path which passes by a stream cascading down a 40 foot waterfall on its way to the sea. At the head of the Chine is the Old Village, a picturesque cluster of thatched roof cottages, shops and hotels. The Chine is a cool refuge on hot summer days. Shanklin
Freshwater Bay Visitors to Shanklin today have many good pubs to choose from as well as some fine restaurants, hotels and shops. There is a theatre at the top of the town where many performers have started their careers and often return during the summer season. Several hotels in Shanklin are renowned for their summer entertainment, from live music and cabaret to comedy and other varied entertainment.
